Copenhagen, November 1, 2017 – New integration between OrthoApnea and 3Shape orthodontics enables dental professionals to send intraoral scans from their 3Shape TRIOS direct to OrthoApnea for the ordering and design of its new personalized sleep device for Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (the “NOA”), just launched at the World Sleep Congress in Prague.
According to OrthoApnea, 3Shape TRIOS digital-impression-accuracy helps the sleep device maker to tailor each NOA device to the individual patient. OrthoApnea has reinvented the oral device concept using anatomical, craniofacial and biomechanical characteristics of the patient when creating its personalized mandibular advancement devices. The digitalization of this data is created in part by 3Shape TRIOS.
