Opening doors with 3Shape OPEN Orthodontics at AAO 2018

3Shape to present solutions and integrations that give professionals and patients more choices

3Shape Clear Aligner Studio* (new software module)

At AAO 2018, 3Shape introduces its new software module, 3Shape Clear Aligner Studio. The new module is created for labs, and practices with inhouse labs, wanting to produce their own clear aligners. Depending on a professional’s expertise, design and production of the clear aligners can be conducted by 3Shape partners, and/or designed and produced in-house using 3Shape Clear Aligner Studio.

3Shape Indirect Bonding Studio (new software module)

Another 3Shape software module being shown at AAO 2018 is 3Shape Indirect Bonding Studio. With just a click, 3Shape Indirect Bonding Studio adjusts the patient’s malocclusion onscreen to create the setup based on a doctor’s preferences. The software virtually places the brackets and then enables the precise transfer of the bracket bonding positions to the patient using printed transfer trays. Any adjustments can be done easily onscreen prior to printing and transfer.

To support the solution, 3Shape openly integrates with over 350 original bracket libraries. Professionals can choose the virtual bracket library and wires from within the software to use when creating the setup.

3Shape OPEN integrations with clear aligner and orthodontic treatment providers

3Shape makes it easy for professionals to work with their preferred clear aligner and orthodontic treatment providers. Doctors using the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner can instantly connect to the more than 45 integrated partner-solutions simply by choosing the desired brand from the TRIOS’ menu. TRIOS digital impressions are cloud-sent to the chosen partner-solution with just a click.

3Shape design partner, FullContour, will be at the 3Shape AAO booth all week demoing the clear aligner design workflow*. FullContour provides a 48-hour turnaround time for its clear aligner and indirect bonding design services.
