With 7 years of experience in 3Shape business development, Kayleigh began her career as a reseller before transitioning to her current role at 3Shape. She has developed a deep understanding of various sectors within the dental industry, including general practices, dental support organisations (DSOs), institutions, and dental labs.
Dr Akit Patel

Specialist Prosthodontist
Perlan Specialist Dental Centre (part of Bupa)

Akit works at Perlan Specialist Dental Centre (part of Bupa) in Eastbourne. He is also a Clinical Senior Teaching Fellow in Restorative Dentistry at UCL Eastman Dental Institute, and is an Honorary Consultant for Solventum, GC, Straumann and Komet Dental.

An ITI Fellow and a member of the Bupa Dental Care Advisory Committee, Akit is dedicated to advancing dental education. He regularly lectures and leads hands-on workshops across the UK and internationally, sharing his expertise in restorative dentistry, removable and implant prosthodontics.

Akit is a highly experienced specialist prosthodontist with special interests in minimal intervention, adhesive dentistry, fixed and removable conventional, implant and cosmetic rehabilitation.

Dr Rupert Monkhouse

Rupert is a general dentist based in Berkshire and London, he splits his time between private practice and the MClinDent in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at King’s College London.

Rupert has a passion for removable prosthetics, lecturing and teaching hands on both in the UK and abroad.

Rupert is active in the wider dental industry being a Beta tester for 3Shape, an Ivoclar Key Opinion Leader and a fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He also sits on committees for both the ITI and British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD).

Tim Jackson

Tim Jackson is a Clinical Dental Technician with over 17 years of experience in dentistry. He also co-owns Prime Dental Laboratory Ltd based in the East Midlands.

As a Key Opinion Leader for 3shape,Tim provides training to clinicians and technicians, specialising in the use of advanced digital workflows for designing and producing high quality dental devices.

Lamia Murray

Practice Manager
Charnwood Dental Practice – Riverdale Group

Lamia started her career in 2017 as an apprentice dental nurse. After qualifying in a mixed practice, she gained extensive experience in oral surgery, dental implants, and orthodontics. She obtained certification in Dental Radiography, leading her into management.

In 2023 Lamia launched her own Dental Instagram platform giving tips and insights in the Practice Management and sharing her own experiences. She has published articles, and spoken on podcasts over the years.

Dr Ferdi Chum

Ferdi is a general associate dentist at Gosforth Dental Surgery in Newcastle. He co-founded Trinity Dental Courses and lectures all around the UK. Over the years,

Ferdi has developed knowledge to restore complex cases, using all modern technology, such as a TRIOS Intraoral Scanner. Ferdi is the regional representative for the BACD in the north eastern region, and was also shortlisted for an Aesthetic Dentistry award for his photography skills.

Lee is the Director of 3Shape for UK & Ireland. Lee joined 3Shape in Jan 2019. Lee is a Sales Management executive, with 28 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices & Capital Equipment Sales (CV, Analgesia, Palliative Care, Wound Care, Aesthetics, Respiratory & Dental), Training & Development and Sales Effectiveness.

Charlie Laity

Charlie is a Senior Clinical Specialist from 3Shape, based in Reading UK. Graduating from Cardiff Met. University in 2016 with a BSc in Dental Technology, Charlie worked in Prosthetic and Orthodontic Laboratories, gaining a special interest and passion for digital workflows.

Charlie joined 3Shape in 2017 as the Orthodontic Specialist in the UK, and then in 2019 became chief clinical specialist. Charlie is responsible for UK Academy courses, onboarding new customers, and delivering advanced/expert trainings for experienced users.
