3Shape Dental System users can now seamlessly receive cases from dentists using Dentsply Sirona Primescan and Omnicam intraoral scanners.

3Shape and Dentsply Sirona have teamed up to enable 3Shape Dental System users to connect with dentists using Dentsply Sirona intraoral scanners. The integration means that Dentsply Sirona’s Connect Case Center and 3Shape’s Communicate cloud software are fully integrated for secure data transfer. Your 3Shape lab can now seamlessly receive Dentsply Sirona intraoral scans.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

3Shape Dental System users first need to update to version 2021.2. Once updated, you’ll be able to receive Dentsply Sirona digital impressions directly in Dental System. You no longer need to download cases via the platform "Connect Case Center" Inbox or any other channel for incoming cases from Dentsply Sirona intraoral scanners. You receive your 3Shape TRIOS and Dentsply Sirona intraoral scanner cases in the same inbox.

As with TRIOS scans, you must first accept Dentsply Sirona based orders to make them visible in Dental System. To activate your inbox, create free of charge account on Dentsply Sirona’s Connect Case Center and link it to your 3Shape Communicate account.
