This is the case for TRIOS Care service agreements and legacy CliniCare subscriptions in the USA, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain or Great Britain. If you are experiencing issues with your TRIOS subscriptions renewal, it may be related to your subscription and service relation being moved from your reseller to 3Shape. The PC is an important part of the overall 3Shape system. It is the engine on which the software is run, and consequently the software puts some requirements on the PC. Our sales representatives can advise you on the specific PCs that work on a specific combination of 3Shape products. Our software development team is currently testing the compatibility of our systems (TRIOS, Dental Desktop, Ortho System and Dental System) with the new Microsoft Windows 11. Because we are still assessing compatibility, we recommend that you wait with upgrading to Windows 11 until we have completed testing. By holding off, we can ensure the stability of your systems. Our 3D files can be opened and exported as .DCM, .PLY and .STL files. Standard .STL files can be read and opened by most 3D viewers that are available online. We also offer a free 3Shape 3D viewer if you want to open TRIOS .DCM files on a PC without 3Shape software. This can be useful if you want to preview scans including all the additional information such as color, for example. In order to get started, you need to download the 3Shape 3D Viewer installation file.

The software you have requires a physical USB 'dongle' for its license, which should be obtained through an authorized 3Shape reseller. If you already possess a genuine 3Shape dongle, either your reseller or 3Shape themselves can assist you in acquiring a valid license for it when you purchase the software through 3Shape or your reseller.
